Current Information:Bedford House Cemetery, Ypres In the middle of June 1915, 14th Division took over the trenches at Railway Wood in the Ypres salient. On 29th June, 7th King’s Royal Rifle Corps of 41 Brigade moved into the front line and remained there for just over one week. There were casualties every day and the battalion diary lists them but strangely it makes no mention of the death of Second Lieutenant Grew. Normally battalion diaries give details of the officer casualties but not of the other ranks. |
